Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland

Today I will review "Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland". It is the biggest entertainment ever made by Disney. It is an unprecedented castle projection using search lights, fountains, flames and fireworks. In addition, it also uses illuminations decorated on the plaza tree. It far exceeds the concept of projection mapping. It started on July 10, 2018. However, it ends on 26th April 2019. So I want you to see it until then. Music is also wonderful. The theme song of Tokyo Disneyland is played at to the opening. After that the songs used in various attractions are played. I especially like the finale. The finale had a nostalgic impression.

 

This show began when Mickey Mouse, who became conductor of the orchestra, appeared in Cinderella Castle. Mickey goes around Tokyo Disneyland's Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, Critter Country, Toontown, Tomorrowland and It's a Small World. The attraction you took on that day may appear. I was impressed when I first saw this show. I have never seen such a wonderful show. I think that it would be better to see it actually than to introduce it on this blog.

Mickey's House and Meet Mickey

Today I will review Mickey's House and Meet Mickey. Mickey's House and Meet Mickey are in Toontown in Tokyo Disneyland. Mickey, who is filming a movie at Movie Barn on the back of his house, meets the guests at the break. On Mickey 's birthday this year, the waiting time reached 11 hours maximum. Mickey Mouse turned 90 years old in 2018. This time I will introduce Mickey Mouse wearing four costumes you can meet here.

1. Thru the Mirror

This is a short movie by Mickey with the motif of Though the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. This is Mickey's costume as you see. You can meet him in this costume at the entrance of Tokyo Disneyland. In this room there are receiver and silk hat that appearing in the original story of the movie.

2. The Band Concert

This is also a short film. Mickey becomes the conductor and plays, but Donald Duck interferes or a typhoon comes and it is a catastrophe. Mickey who you can meet here wears a red long coat and a marching hat.

3. Steamboat  Willie

This is the first movie produced as a short movie that  featured Mickey Mouse. This movie was released on November 18, 1928. There is a set of the ship's steering room. You can imagine the famous scene where Mickey is steering. This Mickey has a muffler with a white, black and gray border. He is wearing white shorts, but he isn't wearing a coat. I do not know if he is cold or not.




4. Fantasia

Fantasia is an American movie of 1940, and Mickey appears in one scene. Mickey is wearing the costume of a wizard's disciple. I think this Mickey is also famous. I like this costume the best among the four. In the room there is a background like the universe that appears when Mickey uses magic.

The Diamond Horseshoe Presents "Mickey & Company"

Today I will review The Diamond Horseshoe Presents "Mickey & Company". Mickey & Company is a dinner show located at Diamond Horseshoe in Westernland. In order to go to a show restaurant, it is necessary to make a reservation on the Internet in advance. However, it's so popular that it is difficult to make a reservation. In this article, I will introduce about the restaurant's cuisine and its show.

Because this is a show provided by Prima Ham, Prima Ham's meat dish is also used for cooking. Please look at the photo. From the top left of the photo is a drink called "Frontier Punch", "Chef Salad", "Cheese Roll of Chicken, Sausage with Bone, Shrimp & Scallop, Mashed Potatoes, Warm Vegetables", Bread and Dessert. Especially I recommend "Frontier Punch". This drink is orange on the top and red purple on the bottom. This is very tasty. I want to drink it again. Here bread and drinks are all you can eat or drink. There are other drinks, but I only drink "Frontier Punch" if I come here. Frontier punch can only be drunk here, so try it, please.

Mickey, Minnie and Donald appear in this show. There is a story in this show. A man named "Jack" serves as the host of the show. He is in love with the restaurant manager named "Sue". Through this show he will try to convey his feelings to her. Mickey, Minnie, Donald cheer that love. I particularly like the scenes when Mickey plays the xylophone. When Mickey  plays the xylophone, I feel like he can do anything. Besides, it is fun because Donald cooks, Minnie dances and everyone goes out to play.

Tokyo Disney Sea Christmas 2018

Today I will review Disney Christmas in 2018. This year's Disney Christmas will start on November 8th. I like Christmas at Tokyo Disney Sea because Disney Sea 's Christmas is more romantic than Tokyo Disneyland's.

There is a new daytime show and a night show like last year at Christmas this year. This time, I will introduce the two Christmas shows.

1. It's Christmas Time!

This show will appear for the first time this year. The costumes worn by Mickey and Minnie are very cute. According to the official website, "the live performance with Mickey Mouse and his Disney Friends together with singers and dancers will offer Guests an unforgettable Christmas interlude." A lottery is necessary for this show when viewing in some areas  I want to see this show soon.

Tokyo Disney Resort 35th "Dreaming Up!"

Today I will review the parade of Tokyo Disneyland called "Dreaming Up !". The grand daytime parade premiered as part of the "Tokyo Disney Resort 35th 'Happiest Celebration!'" event.  When I saw this parade for the first time, I liked it right away. 

There are 13 floats running in this parade. I recommend 7 floats out of them.

1. Mickey Mouse and Pluto

The parade starts from this float. Mickey Mouse and Pluto are on a big ship. This ship moves up and down. I like the 35th anniversary costumes they are wearing.

2. Alice in Wonderland

I like Alice in the bottle. Alice's view of the world is expressed.

3. Pinocchio 

The handicraft made by Mister Geppetto of Pinocchio is a motif.

4. Minnie Mouse

Minnie's costume is cute. She is on the stage holding a magic broom .

5. Chip and Dale

The theme of this float is food. Their dance is cute. Food and their compatibility are wonderful. They are also on the stage holding a magic broom.

6. Winnie the Pooh

Pooh and Piglet are on this float. Your heart will heal when you see them.

7. Peter Pan

Peter Pan and Wendy appear at the end of the parade. They often fly in the sky with this parade.
I was impressed when they flew in the sky.

I like the sound source of this parade. A lot of Disney music is used in this parade. The melody of this parade is pop and the lyrics are in English. When you see this parade, please also enjoy the music.

Blue Bayou Restaurant

Today I will review Blue Bayou Restaurant（ブルーバイユーレストラン）. This restaurant is located in Adventureland in Tokyo Disneyland. If you ride an attraction called  Pirates of The Caribbean, you will want to go to this restaurant. Because this restaurant is the only one in Tokyo Disneyland combined with an attraction. I went to this restaurant for the first time in July 2018, but this restaurant has been at Tokyo Disneyland since it opened.
This restaurant type is French Creole. French  Creole is a mix of dishes such as French, American, Spanish and African, and is served as a luxurious course meal at the Blue Bayou restaurant.
This restaurant has a night like atmosphere. So the cast of this restaurant says "Good evening" in the daytime.

I recommend one course meal and drink at this restaurant. First, I will introduce the Chef's  Specials. This is the limited course of the 35th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort. The appetizer is " Medley of Hors d' Oeuvres"and " Beef Mousse and Jellied Consomme, Snow Crab and Mashed Avocado, Palm Heart and Salmon Roll, Cajun Sbrimp, and Marinated Scallop". The entree is "Roast Beef and Herb-Crusted Lobster Tail with Sauteed Scallop and Horseradish Sauce". The Dessert is " Strawberry Sundae". The taste is very tasty and food is beautifully arranged.
I will introduce "Specialty Drink with Coconut Syrup (Pineapple & Peach). This drink changes taste when coconut syrup is added little by little.  I like this drink.
